This, uhh... This isn't rock. It also isn't that good.
It was very repetitive, which is not good for a seven minute long song, and it was very annoying.
Also, the message did not come through at all.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This project was one that annoyed me for awhile because of the reasons you highlight. It's based around cemetary gates by pantera, and i could've really just cut out about 2 minutes from the end, but i didn't enjoy listening to the whole track because i couldn't find anything cohesive with that drum beat i made for it. I'll probably wind up reworking it later, I do sort of feel like i pushed this one off my "desk" (mind). Thanks for the 2nd opinion though, sometimes I'm just not sure if the sounds are worth the extra effort.
Honestly, I didn't like it.
I thought it was very choked and never really built up to anything. I thought it was very repetitive and annoying. The skips, OH the skips. It's really jarring to have a consistent beat, especially in a minimalist song such as this, and then it pauses. Hrng...
It's mainly that this just isn't my style. Different strokes...
thanks
Dude, I feel like NG is trying to hypnotise my with these visualizations...
Very relaxed and peaceful. Good job.
Thanks =)
Gonna skip the ass-kissing, and make an actual review.
This is, like you state, a "Breaktrance" song. Dunno exactly what this means, but I'm guessing it has heavy emphasis on beats and the like, but is a relaxing song. I do agree, but it can be also used in a very action-packed environment, as displayed in the ever so popular Raze 2. A very good job, but at times gets a little unnecessary with some sounds. 9/10.
Edit (5/9/2021): I was an idiot. Every sound, every detail, every bell and whistle in this sound fills my heart with energy and makes me dream of soaring the skies above a wretched battlefield. In this wordless ode to competition and conflict lies a haunting duality, presenting both the joy that comes from wanting and trying to be the best, but the horrible calamity that naturally arises as a reaction.
Though I would gladly take any form of this song, I wouldn't replace it or the memories associated with it for anything in the world, not even that indisputable first or crossing that horizon.
Thank you! :) I agree, I plan to do a remake of this at some point! :)
Really good. I just wish it was longer.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wish it was longer too. Right now, though, I haven't got the time (or the motivation) to extend this into a lengthy track.
For a second I thought someone was playing Skyward Sword in the background :\
I just love the feel this gives off. Great job.
Thanks Ben! I'm actually a little surprised that you said that. Considering I'm a huge fan of Zelda games, that is quite the compliment. Thanks! :D
I'm starting to tear up. Just hearing a fantastic metal song like this is a rare occasion, I'm just so happy to know that this music is still being made... ;)
Oh, and F**K MAINSTREAM MUSIC. That stuff is CRAP compared to this.
Not much into mainstream music myself sir, I've given up on the entire music industry, the underground is where the good shit is at! :D ROCK ON and thanks bro
Very nice.
If you don't mind, can I use this as the music for a Village in a game I'm making?
Also, If you would make more songs like this, with the whole Zelda-like feel, that would be nice, thank you.
You can use this song, just give credit to Caleb Cuzner.
If you would like me to make some songs for you like this one, just send me a message with details and I'll write them as soon as I can.
(sorry for the late response; the new layout of newgrounds makes it hard for me to tell when there's a new review.)
WUT
WHOA! WUT WAS THAT?!
That was just scarily loud at the beginning!
This combines some my favorite things!
Metal, Skyrim, loud music, and EPICNESS! :D
Thanks! Is it too loud? lol
Wow.
This is really good! Heh, made me very happy when I listened. Thank you.
One suggestion: Make songs like this LONGER. It's a bit too short, but might work as some sort of loop if you hooked the beginning and ending together... :3
hahah thank you:3 and i know it was just me screwing around with some core plugins
